Hearings and deadline tracking

Compute periods from rule tables, walk into hearings prepared, turn notes into tasks.

The Hearing & Record Analysis module handles three jobs: computing the last day from the service date, producing a preparation brief for an upcoming hearing, and turning your post-hearing notes into interim decisions, periods and tasks. Computed deadlines can be added to the client’s deadline list and calendar.

Step by step

  1. Open the Hearing & Record Analysis module and select the client
Deadlines and hearing records are linked to the selected client’s file.
  2. Write the service date and the step
For example “The judgment was served on 3 October; when does the civil appeal period expire?”.
  3. Check the deadline card
The card shows the last day, the legal basis and whether it shifted because of a holiday.
  4. Add it to the calendar
“Add to calendar” puts the deadline in the client’s file, the calendar and the Today page, with reminders 7, 3 and 1 day before the last day.

What you can do

Deadline calculation

Computes the last day from the service date using a rule table, including public holidays, half days and the judicial recess extension. Appeal and cassation periods (civil, criminal, administrative), reply to the statement of claim, objection to a payment order, complaint against enforcement office acts, and filing administrative and tax cases are defined.

Example request
“The judgment was served on 3 October; when does the civil appeal period expire?”

Pre-hearing brief

A preparation file for the selected client’s upcoming hearing: deadlines falling before the hearing, recent events (UYAP documents, interim decisions, approved facts) and a checklist.

Example request
“Prepare a brief for tomorrow’s hearing.”

Post-hearing notes

Structures your spoken or written note: summary, interim decisions (addressee, period granted, whether final), next hearing date and time, tasks, and a plain-language update draft for the client.

Example request
“Hearing done: an expert examination was ordered, the claimant got a final 2-week period, next hearing 18 December 10:30.”

Tips

  • Always state the service date explicitly; relative words like “yesterday” can lead to wrong results.
  • Results rely on the rule table; check special-statute exceptions separately.
  • You can dictate your hearing note and send the transcription.

Frequently asked questions

Is the judicial recess taken into account?

Yes. For periods subject to the recess extension, a last day falling in the recess moves to the relevant day after it; a last day on a public holiday or weekend moves to the next working day.

Which periods are defined?

Appeal and cassation (civil, criminal, administrative), reply to the statement of claim, objection to a payment order, complaint against enforcement office acts, filing administrative cases and filing tax cases. The list is being expanded.

Does the deadline go to my calendar?

When you press “Add to calendar”, the deadline is added to the client’s file, the calendar and the Today page, with reminders 7, 3 and 1 day before the last day.
