Legal translation, firm glossary and translation memory
Source and translation side by side, with your firm’s terminology.
The Legal Translation module splits a document into clauses and paragraphs and translates it as a side-by-side source and target table. Turkish, English, German and Arabic are supported. Term equivalents in your firm glossary are mandatory; units that do not follow them are flagged. Approved translations are saved to memory so the same unit comes from memory next time.
Step by step
- Prepare the glossary (optional)Add the term equivalents you use often to the firm glossary (e.g. ihtiyati tedbir → interim injunction).
- Open the Translation module and attach the documentWrite “Translate this contract into English”; the source language is detected automatically.
- Review the bilingual tableUnits missing a glossary term or left untranslated are flagged.
- Save to memory“Save to memory” adds approved translations to your firm’s translation memory.
What you can do
Bilingual translation
Splits the document into clause and paragraph units and translates them side by side. Copy the translation or the bilingual text in one click. For long documents an estimated cost is shown first.
Firm legal glossary
Mandatory term equivalents per language pair. Every unit containing a glossary term is checked for the required equivalent.
Translation memory
Approved translation units are stored. When the same unit appears again it comes from memory without calling the model, lowering cost and keeping wording consistent across documents.
Tips
- Only add equivalents your firm truly treats as standard.
- The glossary is edited by the office manager or a lawyer granted permission in Team settings; other members can view it.
- Review before saving to memory; memory translations are reused verbatim.
- Very long documents translate the first 150 units at a time; send a second request for the rest.
